Many people with disabilities face disadvantages in areas such as care services, health care and transport that prevent them from reaching their full potential. They – and their carers – may be disconnected from community life.

The Brotherhood has provided services for people with disabilities since the 1960s and continues today with an approach that recognises the importance of family, friends and community for them and their carers.
